Bleg
A blog entry consisting of a request to the readers, such as for information or contributions. A portmanteau of "blog" and "beg". Also called "Lazyweb."

It is also a verb, as evidenced by this Freakonomics posting:

Last week I blegged, seeking information for the next edition of The Yale Book of Quotations, about Bill Gates’s undoubtedly apocryphal quotation, “640K ought to be enough for anybody.

I'm ambivalent about this new word, but I'm enthusiastic about portmanteau. Maybe this is actually a bleg for you to give me some more examples of portmanteaux.
